Kick-Ass movie review with some comics/movie comparison(spoiler warning)

It is amazing, its got all the action/adventure, violence+profanity, and how the story goes is exactly like how it was shown in the Kick-Ass comics, so it is very true to the comic like I thought it would be. The comic is for mature readers, and it is not for everybody, and the movie version is Rated R and is also not for everybody.

Now to the comic vs. movie comparison

ATTENTION (SPOILER WARNING)

1.In the comic: Dave Lizewsk (a.k.a) Kick-Ass recieved an e-mail from a unknown girl that needed help, cause she was being harrassed by her ex-boyfriend Eddie Lomas. In the movie: Katie Deauxma told Dave Lizewsk that she was being harrassed from her ex-boyfriend named Razole(I might be spelling that one wrong) and she also e-mailed Kick-Ass of the issue as well.

2.In the comic: Kick-Ass went to the apartment to meet Eddie Lomas, to tell him to leave this woman alone, well him, and his gang attacked him to kill him, he did use pepper spray on them, which helped a bit, till he was rescued by Hit-Girl. In the movie: Kick-Ass went to the apartment to meet Razole, to tell him to leave Katie alone, well him, and his gang attacked him to kill him, he did use a taser on them, which helped a bit, till he was rescued by Hit-Girl.

3.In the comic: The unknown girl was a black african american that thanked Kick-Ass for what happened to Eddie, even though Big Daddy and Hit-Girl deserved the credit for the killing of Eddie and his gang. In the movie: Katie couldn't believe what happened to Razole, but she knows he has a rep, and that it was bound to happened.

4.In the comic: Katie believed this rumor that Dave is gay, but he isn't, and Dave couldn't believe that he is hearing this rumor, so Katie invited him to hang out with her, but instead of telling Katie that he is not gay, he took advantage of the situation in order to hang out with her. They hanged out by watching TV/Movie, while eating pop-corn. In the movie: Same type of situation except when they hanging out by having Dave rubbing lotion on her back.

5.In the comic: He came by as Kick-Ass toward Katies window to yell out "Not Gay", she woke up hearing that but only saw a small glimpse of Kick-Ass in her neighberhood. In the movie: He crawled in Katies window to let her know that he is Kick-Ass, and that he is not gay, but before he could, she jumped, and freaked out and pepper sprayed him, he told her to calm down, and while she was still freaking out, he removed his mask to reveal to her that Dave and Kick-Ass are one of the same, and also told her that he is not gay. She took the truth well, then things started to get hot, and heavy to where they're obviously about to have sex.

6.In the comic: Katie heard that Dave is not gay, so she asked if that is true, Dave said "No I'm not gay, and that he thinks about her every morning when he wakes up, and that he thinks about her every night, and that he couldn't be any gayer if he tried, she did not take it too well. In the movie: Katie took the truth very well, and now wants him bad.

7.In the comic: Close to the end, Kick-Ass got betrayed by Red Mist when he got hit in the back of the head by the handle of his gun, and in the end, Red Mist used the famous Joker line. In the movie: Kick-Ass was betrayed by Red Mist, but Red Mist all of a sudden felt guilty, and didn't want Kick-Ass hurt,(So he seems to show some good by expressing that) but also in the end, Red Mist used the famous Joker line.

8.In the comic: Big Daddy got shot and killed in the back of the head. In the movie: Big Daddy got shot a few times but never in the head, but he did die, after saying his last few words to Hit-Girl.

9.In the comic: Big Daddy is really a geek, making up a Punisher-ish ex-cop story as a way to impress his daughter. In the movie: He is a ex-cop.

10.In the comic: Big Daddys briefcase is really full of comics, even though he told them that it is full of money. In the movie: Big Daddy briefcase is full of $3 Million dollers.

11.In the comic: Kick-Ass recieved a major beating from the mob, and a major electric shock to the balls. In the movie: Kick-Ass recieved a major beating from the mob, but no electric shock to the balls.

12.In the comic: Kick-Ass never shot the mob with a gunpowered jetpack. In the movie: He did.

Cause of the small difference in the movie from the comic, I'd say the movie is 96% true to the book, I'll also give it a IGN-ish score of a 9.8, and a 1Up grade score of a A, and a X-Play-ish score of a 5 out of 5 stars, and here are IGN thoughts on Kick-Ass.
